DLL Storify of @Blue1647 #CodeDay #Chicago -- Friday 5/21 & Saturday 5/22/16

CodeDay was a nationwide event wherein student programmers, artists, musicians, actors, and everyone else could get together and build apps and games for 24 hours. Students of all skill levels were welcome.  Workshops and mentors were available for newcomers.

DLL Storify of the Black Enterprise #BESmart Idea Lab: The E-Summit Business Solutions Challenge! -- Saturday 5/7/16

The Idea Lab, sponsored by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was a component of this year's Black Enterprise four-day Summit (5/4/16 to 5/7/16) in Miami. Five teams of HBCU students competed: Florida A&M University, Fort Valley State University, Bethune-Cookman University, Morgan State University, and Hampton University

DLL Storify of Black Girls CODE, Bay Area Chapter, "Build a Game in a Day" -- Saturday 4/30/16

This Black Girls CODE workshop introduced its students to game design and development. Intended for girls 7 to 17, the workshop encouraged student-driven learning, as participants thought analytically, designed, played, and coded in real-time.
