DLL Storify of the Black Girls Code DC Workshop, "Build a Mobile App in a Day with AppInventor" -- Saturday 9/26/15

Last update: Sunday 9/27/15
Sponsored by the Washington, DC chapter of Black Girls Code, this workshop was held on the College Park campus of the University of Maryland. As per the description on its events page, the workshop focused on mobile app development with Android AppInventor.

AppInventor is a fun and simple tool that allows young code divas to create their programs and user interface using drag-and-drop programming blocks. Participants learned how to write music apps, apps that tell fortunes, and more.

Below find the DLL Storify of tweets that were generated by participants who used hashtags =
#BGCDC, @VolunteerBGCDC, VolunteerBGCDC, and #BGCMobileApp. As usual, this DLL Storify is merely a "firehose" draft, i.e., it includes all tweets in chronological order without comment or classification ... Storyfies of other #DiversityInTech events are listed in the DLL Archives.
